I'm not sure how that affected my PC because I believe the the port is not a USB drive. I am running Windows 7 and everything was working fine until I uninstalled the USB Host Controller. What I have noticed is that my BIOS can detect all my drives, including the one that I boot Windows from. Going to here and clicking on Startup Repair would lead me to this prompt: The problem started appearing after I reboot my PC, where it automatically leads me to the Windows Error Recovery.Īfter launching the System Repair, it will lead me to the System Recovery Options Ĭlicking on Repair and restart will lead me to this window: Ĭlicking next from there would lead me here: Īnd the system can't detect my system restore points: In order to fix the inconvenience, I had to uninstall the controller, reboot my PC and then install it again. I installed USB Intel 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller in hopes of solving a different issue but I encountered some minor inconvenience.
